Bible Verse Picker (bibleversepicker.com) is a free website operated by Native Brains. This page explains what information we collect when you visit, and what happens to it. The honest answer is: very little.

The short version

We do not ask for your name, your email, or anything else about you. There are no accounts, no forms, and the site itself sets no cookies. You can read Scripture here without handing over any personal information.

What we collect

Nothing you type. The site has no sign-up, no login, and no forms. We never receive your name, email address, or payment details, because we never ask for them. We do not sell or share personal information, because we do not have any.

Aggregate visit statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how the site is doing. It is a cookieless tool that counts visits in aggregate, such as which pages are popular and roughly where in the world visitors come from. It does not use cookies, does not follow you around other websites, and does not build a profile of you as an individual.

Basic technical logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps short-lived server logs, such as IP addresses and request times. These exist to keep the site secure and running, not to identify readers.

Cookies

The site does not set any cookies of its own. The analytics we use works without them.

Advertising (a note about the future)

Bible Verse Picker does not show ads today. At some point we may add advertising through Google AdSense to help cover the cost of running the site.

If ads ever appear, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies to serve and measure those ads, including cookies that reflect your visits to this site and other sites. You can read more in Google's advertising policies.

We will update this policy before ads go live, so this page always describes what the site is actually doing.

Children

The site is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children either.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site works, we will update this page and adjust the effective date at the top. Meaningful changes, like adding advertising, will be reflected here before they take effect.
